The November 30th deadline for the Community Archaeology Dating (CARD) Fund is approaching. This fund, which was established and is funded by ARS Ltd. and the SUERC Radiocarbon dating laboratory, is directed specifically at community groups seeking to obtain radiocarbon dates on key samples from sites they have investigated.

The 2017 funding round funded 20 dates from nine projects across Britain. Highlights include the St Helen’s Chapel project at Malham in Yorkshire and the long-running Caistor Roman Project.

The application process is incredibly simple. Visit the CARD fund website, found here, and complete the form, making sure to fill in all fields. Then all you have to do is press submit, cross your fingers and await funding decision.

We look forward to receiving your applications.
