For World Book Day 2019 ARS Ltd. is offering two great books for a discounted price! ‘Archaeology and Environment on the North Sea Littoral: A Case Study from Low Hauxley’ and ‘Rescued from the Sea: An Archaeologists Tale’ are the two books on offer.

The first is a comprehensive volume focusing in details on the archaeological and palaeoenvironmental evidence gathered from our Rescued from the Sea project which we worked on in collaboration with Northumberland Wildlife Trust. The book makes an important contribution to the understanding of key historical processes affecting the wider North Sea Basin, including the arrival of narrow-blade-using Mesolithic groups from ‘Doggerland’, the presence of Early Neolithic farming groups, the arrival of the first Beaker-using people to the region and farming intensification in the Bronze Age.

The second book focuses on the same project and provides a first-hand account of the excavations at Low Hauxley before the remarkable site was lost to coastal erosion and rising sea levels.

In order to claim your copies of the book please either send us an email to admin@archaeologicalresearchservices.com titled ‘World Book Day Offer Archaeological Research Services’ requesting the book, number of copies and your name plus delivery address, or send a letter with this information and a cheque made payable to ‘Archaeological Research Services Ltd.’

‘Archaeology and Environment on the North Sea Littoral: A Case Study from Low Hauxley’ is available for £35.00 including postage.

‘Rescued from the Sea: An Archaeologists Tale’ is available for £14.00 including postage.

Offer ends on the 15th March 2019, so don’t miss out!
