We recently carried out trial excavations on the site of world-famous inventor and industrialist Sir Richard Arkwright’s Mill in Bakewell where we found wonderfully preserved stonework and flooring of the first mill. Work on a new hotel is scheduled to begin there soon. Check out the article in the Derby Telegraph.
