An upcoming digital conference will provide an essential learning opportunity for those involved in commissioning archaeological works for infrastructure projects.
‘Seeing in the dark – reconnaissance and evaluation technologies for world heritage sites and major infrastructure developments’ will take place on Tuesday 2 November 2021, 15:10 to 16:30 UK time, as part of the Vienna ‘Conference on Cultural Heritage and New Technologies’.
Experts from ARS Ltd, Clive Waddington, Roger Doonan and Joel Goodchild will be delivering papers on aspects of our rapid, innovative, and all-encompassing Landscape Prospection Service, including:
- Using geochemical survey in archaeological reconnaissance and evaluation
- Enhanced airborne prospection and characterisation
- Using geoarchaeology to drive rapid and cost-effective programmes of landscape-scale evaluation
