In June we told you about the Neolithic post-built timber structure that we’d found at Tarmac’s Cheviot Quarry (find out more here), and we subsequently received the results of the radiocarbon dating which confirmed the house as Early Neolithic in date (read more here). One of our Historic Buildings Specialists, Ian, who also happens to be a talented artist, has created these 3D models of how the house may have looked, based on the actual postholes and interior pits that we excavated.
