For those of you who want to learn more about the latest archaeological discoveries and research from Britain (and further afield), head down to London on 24 February 2024 for a feast of fascinating talks!
The one-day event Current Archaeology Live! will be taking place at University College London’s Institute of Education, where you’ll be treated to guest speakers talking about everything from missing monasteries to Roman forts to a behind-the-scenes look at Time Team.
Tickets are on sale and can be found at the link below, along with a provisional timetable for the day’s fun:

And don’t forget, the Current Archaeology Awards 2024 will also be happening at the event. This is a prestigious ceremony to celebrate the projects and publications that made the magazine over the last year. We’re thrilled to be nominated for the Rescue Project of the Year for “Ponteland’s prehistoric past: tracing life and death on the edge of the Northumberland Coastal Plain” and we’d love your support!
To get voting, head to www.archaeology.co.uk/vote. It only takes a couple of seconds and voting is open to everyone – so while buying your tickets for the conference please click and help this fabulous project get the recognition it deserves!
