Getting Involved

The Glendale Show in June 2009 provided an exciting opportunity for the public to find out about and handle some of the discoveries from Lanton Quarry. It also gave over a thousand school children the chance to try their hand at digging for finds and seeing the Iron Age skeleton that was found on the site.

The archaeological work at Lanton Quarry has generated a large amount of public interest and a variety of opportunities for people to get involved has been provided. As more than half of the site still remains to be excavated there will be opportunities over the coming years for people to join in with this exciting project. If you would like to register to take part in future excavations, open days and other events click on the link below, fill in the form, and submit these details to ARS Ltd. and we will keep you informed of future initiatives.
